Our Client is a Perth based ASX listed gold producer with a market capitalisation of approximately A$300m with operations in Australia and Africa.
They are now seeking an experienced person to fill the role of Mill Superintendent at their operation in East Africa, processing 3 MTPA.
Specific experience is required in Crushing, SAG Milling, Ball Mill and CIL and applicants must have a strong commitment to the continued training and development of their staff and be highly motivated team players.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years supervisory in a similar role and previous offshore experience will be highly regarded.
Position Profile:
- Safety compliance and improvements
- Environmental compliance and awareness
- Cost effective recovery
- Asset management and maintenance strategies
- Continuous improvement initiatives throughout the mill
- Budgets and cost control
- Management of the mill team including maintenance and stores
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of the complete gold process
- Previous experience handling budgets
- Proven ability to manage high volume staff
- Strong understanding of HSE issues and mining legislation/ regulations
The role is offered as 57 days on / 34 days off to POH, and the remuneration package is structured to attract and retain the quality of applicants that this position requires.
