MINING ENGINEERING 6320 - Technical / Engineering Services Manager - CLOSED
Our Client is a world leading international mining company with many advanced exploration projects located around the world with a significant number of these operations in Australia.
In the role of Engineering Services Manager (three key sites) you will report to the Groups General Manager and be included as a key member of the Leadership Team. You will also contribute effectively to the overall performance of the operations.You will accept responsibility for the development, implementation and management of the engineering systems, ensure optimal technical services are provided across the mine sites, enable the achievement of short and long term business objectives.
Overall responsibility:

Deliver Resource/Reserve Modelling and Estimation for the Life of Mine Plan

Integrate and deliver the Life of Mine Plan and Budget Design, construct and manage the systems to provide mine engineering and technical services

Provide all mine engineering support to agreed cost, quality, quantity and schedule

Ensure the integration of mine engineering systems across the Yilgarn sites to ensure synergies and efficiencies in systems and services for the customer

Maintain a formal management reporting system that incorporates performance statistics, any applicable statutory requirements and business improvement initiatives

Assist the General Manager in developing the overall business strategy, particularly in regard to engineering and technical services
Preferred candidates will demonstrate a track record of success in the mining & resources industry with significant experience in technical management positions.
You will also possess sound knowledge of mine planning/scheduling software (Vulcan/Surpac or the like) and MS Project with the ability to use integrated management systems. Attributes required – leadership, organisation, communication, interpersonal skills, presentation skills and the ability to create team harmony.
