MAINTENANCE JOBS: 6777 - Fixed and Mobile Plant Fitter
Our Client is seeking the services of a Fixed Plant/Mobile Plant Fitter for their operations in the north west of Western Australia.
This will be a residential position with a roster working 4 days on (2 days then 2 nights) then 4 days off. Experience with Kenworth trucks, CAT loaders and graders as well as conveyors, wash plants and other fixed plant equipment will be highly regarded.
The Position:
Reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent you will play an instrumental part in focusing on preventative maintenance and breakdown repair of fixed and mobile plant. You will join and contribute to a dedicated team committed to providing consistent high standard maintenance services whilst maintaining safety standards at all times.
Duties will include but not be limited to;
- Responsible for mechanical safety of all equipment owned and operated on site
- Ensure all installation, repairs and maintenance tasks are carried out safely and comply with company policies and procedures
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown tasks
- Maintaining high levels of safety and environmental standards
- Offering technical support to other staff members.
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Current Mechanical Trade Qualification, with approximately 3 to 5 years post trade experience
- Previous experience with fixed and mobile plant
- Good interpersonal skills and be a team player
- Trouble shooting and fault finding experience
- Be able to pass pre employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, obtain a National Police Clearance and be able to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card
