MINING ENGINEERING JOBS: 6544 - Alternate Underground Manager

Our Client is an Australian gold company has a substantial gold resource base and a strong platform for building a significant new Underground Gold mine at their existing operations. The company’s new Gold Project, located in the Goldfields is currently under development and due to produce gold in early 2010.

Reporting to the Underground Manager you will be involved in mine supervision and direction, undertake mine planning, periodic reporting, as well as involvement in project development work.

This position also takes the statutory responsibility in the Underground Manager’s absence.

We require a tertiary qualified Mining Engineer with a Western Australian 1st Class Mine Manager’s Certification, along with a dynamic team oriented approach to working with others, and a track record of success in similar positions.
