GEOLOGY: 6345 - Junior Open Pit Geologist, Africa

Our client is currently seeking a Junior Open Pit Geologist for a permanent role in Africa.

Job Information:
Degree qualified geologist with 1-3 yrs experience
Salary Approximately US$60,000
9 wks on 3 wks off, return Economy flights to point of hire
Willingness to learn some French would be beneficial
Surpac experience preferred
Capable of working in a multi-cultural environment

Duties will include:
Daily ore movement/stockpile reporting
Lab sample tracking
Grade Control block model development, validation, update
Pit Mapping and geological interpretations
Promotion of mine health, safety and environmental policies
Supervision of RC grade control drilling programmes
