Our Client is a growing mining and metals company, engaged in mineral exploration, development and mining in Africa.
They are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with 5yrs+ experience in a maintenance role of a modern ore processing facility..
Duties and Responsibilities:

That safe work practices are exercised in the work place.
- That the plant availability is maintained above 90% on a month to month basis.
- To ensure that operating costs are minimized and budgets adhered to.
Education and Experience:
-
Qualified Mechanical Engineer training in a process plant environment. Skills in other disciplines will be an asset.

Minimum of five years post qualification experience in the maintenance management of a modern ore processing plant.

Project experience will be an asset.
-
A management qualification will be an asset.

Exposure to Copper SX/EW would be a distinct advantage
This role is offered on a FIFO basis of 10 weeks on, 3 weeks off or 6:2 if based in South Africa.
