MINING ENGINEERING: 6318 - Underground Manager - NSW
Our Client is an Australian subsidiary of one of the largest industrial mineral companies in the world. They process and supply raw materials worldwide for the manufacturing and primary industries.
Currently they are seeking a suitable Underground Manager reporting to the Site Operations Manager for their NSW project. Primary responsibility is to manage and oversee the day to day supervision of the underground mining operation and all associated activities while conforming and complying with corporate and legislative policies and directives.
Successful candidates will possess:
- A degree or diploma in Mining Engineering
- A NSW Mine Production Manager Certificate of Competence OR the necessary qualifications and practical experience required to attain your certificate
- A high level of technical skills and extensive knowledge of safe practices in underground mining and safety systems
- Strong leadership & communication skills
